The Enhancer for YouTube™ plugin has an option to do this automatically.
Unlike Reddit, on Lemmy you can edit post titles, so you can fix this error.
It's not mine, but I think the purple look comes from color grading more than white balance (this is definitely not just a raw photo straight out of the camera). I actually like the purple look to it (I think it makes it look kind of interesting, almost like the coloring of a painting, and others do too), but it is completely subjective, so I see why you might not like it as much.
Great video! I'll pin this to the community so people can find this easier.
Does OwnCast federate with PeerTube? I'm not quite sure how these Fediverse video platforms work, so I'm not sure if it would be possible.
It would be nice to also have it on F-Droid.
I haven't used Stack Overflow in a while so I forgot about most of those features, and as long as it also uses ActivityPub it doesn't really matter that much if it is a different platform. I think some of those features could even be useful on Lemmy (tagging posts would be nice and maybe community-editable posts could be a thing that communities could choose to enable).
Lemmy could be that, just have programming (and other) Q&A communities here.
the latest release (0.18.3) ... has a lot of performance improvements.
It seems to be performing much better now. I use a userscript that replaces Lemmy links with ones to your instance, and for posts it used to take a few seconds (maybe ~5 seconds, I don't really remember) to load the new links (it has to ping the instance to find the correct link for posts, as the post ID is different across different instances) and now it only takes a second or two to do so.
I do not believe there is any way to change it without connecting directly to the device's circuitry, and in some widgets it may even be stored in the ROM, so a Flipper Zero would not be of much help (unless the board has some sort of programming interface you could connect to the Flipper Zero).
