I'm pagan, give me a fucking state, too. I demand Britain since Stonehenge is located there.

Margaret Thatcher is smiling up from hell.

Fun fact: In Illinois we actually got pretty nice checks from Facebook over them violating a biometric law the state has. I believe most of us in the class action lawsuit got around $300 each.

This was my dad growing up. (Although my mom worked a lot at her job, too.) He's since expressed his regret over it, and the sad thing is that at the time we were all perfectly happy for him to work all the time because he was just such a difficult person. But now that he's retired and had a chance to breathe and heal, he is such a different person and I love spending time with him. We are both cantankerous weirdos with ADHD, and our weekends together are often spent doing projects, losing track of half our tools, and then comparing stories about the dumbest things our impaired attention span has caused us to do.

Basically, he just needed a chance to be HUMAN.

Holy shit. That makes it even more problematic that many men tend to avoid going to the doctor. They essentially have less time once they do show symptoms. :(

LOL, I was thinking I should have bolded the first "n" in lightning but was too lazy.

OP is saying the exact opposite of what you think they said.

It's OK, I initially read the headline as attendees got their faces burned by the event's lightning. My remaining two brain cells massively overclocked themselves trying to sort that one out.

The installation has always been easy enough for me, but what I struggle with is updating drivers and installing new software. Granted, I'm not the brightest bulb in the box, so there's that. I did really like the insane variety of distros and all the needs they cater to. Like if there's something specific you need your OS to specialize in, there's probably a Linux distro for it.

What are you, some kind of Linux prodigy?

I for one cannot wait for racism to expire.

I assume this is what they're talking about: "Under the Defense Authorization Act, the President is authorized to waive the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act's (the act) informed consent requirements in military operations if the President finds that obtaining consent is infeasible or contrary to the best interests of recipients and on an additional ground that obtaining consent is contrary to national security interests."
