The UAW's working on one, but they're targetting 2028 to get around solidarity strike laws.

We need unions to spearhead one, trying to organize a general strike without union backing is doomed to fail because it's basically impossible to organize enough people without structures protecting them.

Sounded like they were at least alleviating them from Trudeau's statement

Yeah, as much as I hate it I think the best outcome comes from us suffering

Its the paradox of democracy (a version of the paradox of tolerance)

Is it more democratic to end democracy via people voting for a tyrant or protect democracy by violating the democratic will of the people.

Warheads or toxic waste

I would be happy to help mod, I modded some stuff on the old site.

Regardless, here's what I'd like to see out of the moderation here:

  • I fully agree with your points on moderation, but I think it's important to add to #1 that no major decisions should be made by the mods, even if all of them are in agreement. They should be discussed with the community.

  • Semi-regular "ask the mods" post (or just one that's stickied). Basically if anyone disagrees with or has questions about a mod action, they can comment there and the mods pledge to answer any question.

If the alternative is not solving the problem while making other stuff worse, yeah.

Whenever I try to use gamescope on a few games, it produces weird visual artifacting that looks like lots of small sections of the screen are in the wrong place.

Example 1: https://i.imgur.com/9j9LLYm.jpeg - spec ops: the line

Example 2: https://i.imgur.com/FvA51pT.jpeg - dishonored

Any ideas what's causing this?

I'm using gamescope -f -H 2560 -W 1440 -- %command%. It also happens if I just do gamescope %command%.
