What happened to conservatives? What happened to "my rights end where yours begin". This shit is asinine, absolute trash.

The trans folks I know are the most joyful, positive people I know. They do not deserve to be stripped of their joy and identity. The next 2 years I suspect will be a long, hard road.

If you're bipolar or predisposed to things, yes!

Joe is old as fuck, nobody needs to assassinate him. He could do it, he's out in one month anyways.

It's almost like .. universal healthcare would make our economy stronger and the insurance companies are the leaches..

This last election made me into an anarchist for now. I do not believe there is any way to salvage this system we have in any meaningful way. I'm not a violent person so I can't see myself doing anything like Luigi, but Democrats aren't going to save anyone and are just one part of the problem.

I think Donald could be the death blow to our country as more and more of our social contract is upended, especially with talks of killing the ACA and other popular programs.

Basically just seems like a normal, intelligent, albeit edgy (with reason) young adult.

I'm curious to see how he's painted by the media now that most of his accounts have been deleted it won't be possible to understand who he was without the media telling us.

He had everything on him to get caught and convicted. I don't think he wanted to run forever.

Brain drain will happen after prices skyrocket and folks are expected to wait it out. Places like Spain are cheap, but generally have a better qol than most places in America.

If European countries want to open their doors to distraught Americans I think it's a great idea because there are a lot of highly educated, highly skilled folks here that might just be done with the bs once maga really begins to churn.

Yeah I agree, but we dont really live in that society anymore. All attempts at reform are sidelined and corporate interests are put over our own constantly. I don't like it either, but people have a breaking point and they can only take so much. If we had a stronger aca that wasn't gutted by industry maybe there wouldn't have been motive here.

It's almost like unlimited corporate power and greed leads to more instability, who woulda thought.

But corporations are people! Think about McDonald's rights!!

The writing has been on the wall since the ACA got rewritten by these same companies. Instead of reforming the system to making it more fair these corporations were prioritized over us and our health.

There is no path to justice, all the evil shit they do has been deemed lawful, so it's not like a lawsuit will do anything and it's certainly not going to change anything for anyone else.

And now with the incoming administration teasing to remove even the smallest of teeth from the aca, it really does feel hopeless. The government is protecting profit over people and I'm surprised it took so long for somebody to finally snap. In an ideal society we would have reforms before stuff like this started happening

I fear it's too late. Unless the party can be taken by force it won't be enough and we only have 4 years. If dems didn't snub Bernie this all probably wouldn't have happened. Our choices used to be two flavors of corporate fascism, now it's far right vs corporate. Dems are better on social issues, but it's not enough.
