I'm trying to read more original French and Spanish, but I'm not at the level to read Balzac or Cervantes.

Who are the Dan Browns and Steven Kings of Spain and France?

In 2011, Daryl Bem published 'Feeling the future: Experimental evidence for anomalous retroactive influences on cognition and affect' (DOI: 10.1037/a0021524). PDF

Presentiment is a feeling that anticipates the future. When you show someone an erotic picture, their skin-conductance goes up more than if you show them a bland picture. In a presentiment study, they are shown random pictures, and it's found that their skin-conductance goes up a moment before the erotic picture appears. Feeling the Future.

You cannot say, in the real reality, that a President Biden will affect these issues. Facts are facts.

A Biden victory could result in further repairing our court system including changing the Supreme Court

the Supreme Court has under Biden overturned Roe v Wade and ruled that presidents are above the law.

"The solution is Biden in the White House" doesn't make sense because this happened with Biden in the White House.

A Biden supreme court would never have struck down Roe Vs. Wade.

uhhhh.....

Who? Was? President? In? 2022?

It's a paper about replicability, meta-analyses, whether the scientific method can be trusted.

They say publication bias is a big problem, and for that reason we see absurd results in the literature. Like the way meta-analyses of ganzfeld studies show find a 32% rate of correctly guessing 'transmitted' images, instead of the 25% rate you'd get from chance.

To show how the published literature is different from real experimental results (to prove their point about publication bias), they do eight ganzfeld studies.... and get a 32% hit-rate.

Empty words.

He said the ground invasion of Rafah was a red line that he wouldn't support them after it.

They invaded Rafah. He continues to support them.

Now he's so "oh no please don't occupy Gaza". Empty words, no more.
