Just create a separate account on the instance and filter it to subscribed by default.

I built the server in 2020 or maybe it was 2021. Thankfully/Sadly work keeps me busy enough I don't have too much free time for filling it these days.
Content is very mixed. Also me and a friend have a 2tb backup thing where we both have 2tb of storage on each others NAS to have an actual backup of the important stuff.
Backups, porn, random downloaded crap. I'm kind of a file pack rat. Always have been.
But really 4k and high res VR Porn does take a lot of fucking space as well.
Looks like a fix is mentioned in there as well just not sure if it applies to us or not.
It is done. Via github if that is okay.
I thought google killed off unlimited.

I use avidemux to grab a clip, pretty straight forward but doesn't really allow any editing which is fine. But then I use a piece of software called File Converter to right click and "Convert To Gif (low quality)" but its usually still too big so I have to run the same thing again to get the file size down.
Maybe I should give jellyfin another look.
I tried it once. Wasn't my cup of tea personally. I'm fairly organized by folder. Way back on the iphone before all the plexes and jellyfins, and everything sombody made an app that was fantastic at just browsing the folders then steaming to you phone. I kind of miss that.
I understand totally. My main account is on lemmy.world and I cast no ill will for this decision.
