Ultimately, it seems like the post doesn’t provide adequate evidence to prove its claims about DDG.

Does lemmy content automatically show here, or do I have to do something. It seem to me that it doesn't in c/kbinMeta@kbin.social

It does and vice-versa. I mainly use Kbin but this comment is from Lemmy (specifically Beehaw.org)

The text and community filters were really useful in Apollo. I’d also really like a similar feature for Memmy

Proton Mail is a good provider. I also like Thunderbird as an email client

I get that video hosting is expensive, but I’m not sitting through the number of ads that YT wants me to.

There will be other workarounds. If those fail, then I’ll just stop watching. The platform has gotten worse over the years anyway.
