What operating system do you use for your home server? I’m planning to do unraid but what are the other options and why would you pick one or another? in c/[email protected]

VMware esxi. The only one I tried, and it works amazing.

What service one should NOT self host in c/[email protected]

I have a load balancer on my network that has opened one port on my home network. The load balancer is connected over the cloud flare and is encrypted on both sides. Is that okay?
