Come to think of it, I kinda do this IRL lol. During the summer months I maintain a full-body shave, like femboy style. But in winter I just trim down the most extensive grow. Mostly 'cause I’m lazy, but also because during the cold months my skin always gets super dry and itchy no matter how much lotion I use, and I don’t wanna make it worse by shaving.

I love how the dragon has a massive phone but it's still slightly too small for it. Must be hard to use that thing

Sadly Thinkpads no longer are what they used to be. I got the X1 Extreme Gen 5 couple of years back and have had all kinds of problems with it. Blue screens, problem with fans sometimes getting stuck at 100%, constant problems connecting to the dock, not to mention bad battery life... My coworker had to get a warranty replacement when the usb-c port stopped working without any apparent reason only after a month of use. And other coworkers with newer models are also reporting issues.

In addition to what others have already pointed out, please also note that mentioning any other account in a "private" message chain will allow that account to retroactively see all the messages in the chain.

Basically DMs in Mastodon are pretty useless.

Providing expiration notification emails means that we have to retain millions of email addresses connected to issuance records. As an organization that values privacy, removing this requirement is important to us.

I fully support the privacy argument (I didn't realize it has been mandatory to give some emai address to get a cert) but why not make it optional instead?

The reminder email from them has saved me once when originally "temporary" domain was not so temporary after all and I forgot to set up auto-renewal and monitoring for it.

If he's been a real bad boy, they might remove the backups too :3

You clearly have a system that works for you, not gonna argue against that.

I've only seen the "chaos version" of that. Like I go up to a coworker, they wanna show me something and then spend the following 30 seconds clicking through the tabs until they finally find the correct one.

Then you finally hit send and immediately after notice the horrible typo you made and somehow didn't catch. Should have read it eleventh time. But at least you didn't sent the dancing video this time...

Yep, has happened in the past. But nowadays browsers are pretty good at minimizing the cpu usage of background tabs. Also, most of our developers' workstations are configured with 64 GB ram, which, come to think of it, might be enabling the addiction in the first place...

I'm a good boy and always close my tabs! ^^
Sometimes I see some coworkers having hundreds of tabs open, and I just don't understand why or how. Any tab hoarders here who can explain?

Cool, we have the exact same saying in Finnish:
Ei meitä sokerista ole tehty --> We're not made of sugar

Can be used as a response anytime someone doesn't want to go outside because it's raining.

Edit: typo

There would need to be a way to guarantee that only the browser could do this, or at least some way to tell exactly what the source was.

I don't think there's a way to do that. Let's say browsers implemented this. I could then just take a copy of Firefox source code and make my own version, which is exactly the same than normal FF except the fancy screenshot tool has been slightly modified to allow editing the page before taking the screenshot.

National Coalition Party candidate Alexander Stubb is set to become Finland's next president on 1 March, beating independent (but supported by the Greens) candidate Pekka Haavisto.

I voted for Haavisto but think that Stubb will be a excellent president too. They both are very experienced in foreign policy, pro-EU and very strong supporters of Ukraine. In fact, the press had to dig real hard to find any differences between them, the most major one being their stance on how Finland should respond (to very theoretical situation) if NATO wanted to store nuclear weapons in Finland or transport them via our territory.
