To my understanding, the /e/ foundation's purpose is to "democratize" privacy-oriented alternatives to Google's ecosystem, not just Android, at a level the average user can understand. Even though I have to give credit to Purism for making a better work in that regard, Purism is of course more expensive for us and even more broadly unavailable or unreachable for "normal" peeps than /e/ OS, territory-wise. /e/'s OS can serve as an intermediary step in my opinion.

I don't know about you guys, but the very fact that they surpassed their goal in less than 6 days is a huge FOSS victory for me!

Dang! I wish I could sign up, but every time I try to click on the verification email links and sign in, I get the same error message that says that my account isn't verified and get a new email of the same type.
I wonder if it's because I signed up on the site in Spanish?
