It’s genuinely a great tool. Was really sceptical at first ans about this Ai buzz but this genuinely improved my day to day searches.

Or the vast majority of political spam from only one country. I’d like more of a worldview. Be interesting to see how others have other problems and how it might be solved with other solutions.

Someone asked this same question a while ago related to also Linux users present.

Basically seems to come down to techies being mostly left winged more frequently which makes up the vasg majority of Lemmy.

I don't miss the global echo and it's kinda nice to read civil discussions or talks.

Though i dont really focus too much on the political topic or consider people such to make it my concern when I read.

Just generally enjoy the good talks, advice and things like I remember how the internet started when it also had 0 political interest.

Everyone also thinks or assumes they know better or best. There is no acceptance of other information maybe being correct even if you present solid evidence. They'll just take you for a fool who doesn't know instead of learning anything from who might have more background or experience.

I stopped doing anything arguments online all together because of this. (Happens irl too though but it's far less polarizing)
