I have been curious about this one. Shin's Brotherhood was quite entertaining, and Simon Yam movies are always "a good time," even the Cat. II ones.

That's right! ๐๐ผ
One of the lesser "warrior babes" b-movies of the '80s, but it's still entertaining for what it is.
I enjoy the balls-to-the-wall sequel more, but Encounter of the Spooky Kind I is still an excellent fantasy-comedy/martial arts actioner. Sammo Hung is the G.O.A.T.
One of my favourite soundtracks ever! ๐ค๐ป
I mean, I'm a bit cuckoo and think that every B-movie is a masterpiece in its own special way. ;) But, yeah, you're right, Repo Man is actually a genuine one. There are no rules that say that movies can't be both.
Yup, that's right! :)
As per Rotten Tomatoes: "Repo Man is many things: an alien-invasion film, a punk-rock musical, a send-up of consumerism. One thing it isn't is boring." I'm just gonna add that it's also a brilliant satire. As a B-movie it's in a league of its own..
A fun tongue-in-cheek slasher, made on an extremely low budget.
This is actually a lot more than your ordinary creature feature. The Alligator People is also a missing person mystery thriller and a relationship drama. It's pretty great.
A classic (irradiated) creature feature with special effects work from Ray Harryhausen. ๐
