I mean no hate on anyone for having a fetish but I agree. Tbh, one of the reasons I like hentai is not for the anime/art style aspect (I don't even watch anime and it's a struggle trying to keep up with context with these characters, lol). It's just because it's drawn and there's no possible exploitation. I still do watch porn but I try and stay away from studios as much as possible.
Anyway that's relevant because for me I want it to have at least some form of connection to reality in it, a lot of hentai doesn't (why impossibly huge futa dicks don't get me off much either lol).
I don't think there's much of a shift though tbh. Hentai has always been really "out there" and exaggerated since the beginning. You just have to look for good stuff and be discerning. And as you say it is annoying that small tit hentai is almost exclusively loli or at least questionable.

They are, but unfortunately, they're convenient as they're treated equivalently to images. So anywhere you can see an image, you can see an animated gif. Its kinda frustrating they haven't come up with an equivalent format that uses an actual video encoding instead of literally just raw frames lol.
