I run my server off of an M1 Mac Mini with 2 Thunderbolt 4 ports. On those two ports, I have two OWC USB-C HDD enclosures (not Thunderbolt) which are powered by their own external power supplies.

- If I added that, would it work to add additional powered enclosures? Or do I need a powered hub or docking station?
- Would it be a huge detriment to my read/write speeds for the devices on the hub if it works?
The best quality streamer I have found is Apple TV+ which seems to range in the 25mb/s range for 4K content.
