I'm using eOS and they have an "easy installer" as well as their own backup/synchronization for accessing files on the desktop.

My laptop is getting old but I still require access to a range of programmes that I can access via things like the AUR, therefore I use Manjaro Mate to keep my little old laptop ticking over. Manjaro is based on Arch, and Mate is a gentle desktop environment, which is why I chose such a combination this time. It feels like every year I switch the Linux distribution whenever the laptop is "creaking" a bit! That's the wonderful thing about Linux!
