For boot and power down, create a service to log it.

For the others, an elogind script might be what you look for.

That brings me to my question, is there a future where this isn't the case? And what would be required to get there?

Some kind of service where vendors can shove their propietary hacks of drivers in your face (as DKMS), like on Windows.

But nobody wants that.

I understand people who game on windows and need 240hz

I don't. Isn't this just a numbers game? Above 100hz should be unnoticable even for sensitive people.

Because the "kde" package is a meta-package that has all the utilities of a KDE-install too, while the "plasma" package has only the desktop.

Here, it's not demand vs. suply. It's demand only, that drives prices.

Wait, isn't that a sign for collusion?

About the PDF chapter: you (and the publishers) use it wrong. PDF was never intended for processing, only for representation; think of it as a digital print. Scientific stuff should be published in an e-book format instead.

I'm not competitive at all, it's just tiring to me. The journey with the mod to defeat every enemy with 3 hits in Witcher 3 was pretty chill, still an amazing game. Jot that down, you guys with the "intended experience".

it’s incredibly impractical to persecute those accessing them.

Always was. If you're serious, persecute those hosting it.

I've read a while ago that the only vew spiders who occasionally eat them don't really like them either, because they have low nutritional value. In short, mosquitos are pretty much useless.

Hackers Keyboard has that via ctrl+z, but only in horizontal mode. For this only i had my Galaxy S3 in horizontal per default. But can't do that with modern phones' aspect ratio and i'm missing undo since then.

RC model of Zorglup' (europe Zyklotrop) aircraft of Spirou & Fantasio: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0IAbTzaiQBo

Situation: we live in europe, there's PRISM and Privacy Shield and all that, to which selfhosting is the solution. Now, my sister, mostly on Apple, got concerned with all the hacks and privacy violations over the years. She's a tech noob, so i can't really recommend her prism-break.org

There's a bunch of hosted solutions geared towards small to medium business, like Univention Corporate Server, NethServer, etc.

Are there similiar bundles for private use, basically Apple cloud alternative? With services like cloud storage, cloud office, media share, maybe chat, videocall?

Or should i let her wait until i got my box up, VPN her over? I'm only semi-professional tho.
