But does the measles vaccine make your body forget your immunity to all the other viruses out there? Nope, only measles does that! Checkmate!

Yep, exactly. Biden spent 4 years cleaning up Trump’s mess, then Trump claimed that Biden made the mess and his voters bought it because they’d been dealing with a mess for 4 years. Now Trump’s back in office making an even worse mess, and the person after him will get blamed for cleaning it up.

That’s actually a trend for Republican presidents in general. Many voters believe that Republican presidents are better at handling the economy, but in reality Republicans consistently make a mess and leave Democrats to clean it up.

I’m not familiar with it.

Some are. Most aren’t.

Liberal elitism is a rallying point for conservatives, and displaying it does not help matters. Not everyone who disagrees with you is dumb. The more accurate thing is that Trump taps into something that encourages even smart people to not think critically.

Daredevil: Born Again. I’d have liked Karen to be a regular character.

That’s not the equivalent at all. That’s pro-Zionism, and has been the US party line for decades. Biden even admitted that back in the 1980s.

How on Earth are you equating that to MAGA?

Do they? Sure, Bernie supporters love to sniff his farts, but they’re not making him the center of their conspiracy theories and there’s no indication they’d believe him if he said 2+2=5. And no one’s getting this excited over Harris, Biden, Warren, Buttigieg, etc.

We need to stop pretending both sides are basically the same. They’re not. They were in the 90s, when it was Clinton vs. Bush. They were pre-Trump, with people like Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz. But Trump is in a league of his own, and there is not a liberal equivalent of MAGA right now.

I just don’t understand why Trump supporters believe Trump. It was clear that his campaign was influenced by Project 2025, and he had several of its authors at his inner circle. But he claimed he didn’t know anything about it and for some reason his supporters believed him.

And now he’s doing exactly what was promised. None of this should be a surprised. The document was openly published by a think tank, his campaign embraced it, and yet his supporters thought it wasn’t going to happen.

Bugs Bunny far surpassed It Happened One Night. His manner of speaking, saying “doc,” and his obsession with carrots are a direct parody of Clark Gable’s character from that movie, but modern audiences don’t realize he’s a parody at all and instead assume the carrot thing it based on rabbits’ real dietary preferences.

It’s such a close parody that they actually secured the rights to remake it. Much of the dialogue is exactly the same.

Definitely White and Nerdy, and Like a Surgeon and Amish Paradise are on par.
