My knees. I am past 30, and my knees somehow don't want to bend anymore.

On the other hand the older I get, the smarter I get about life. Do some physical activity on a regular basis, keep some long term goals in mind, don't let your emotional state depend on external factors.

Find balance in your life and know your limits and you will be all right.

YouTube is simply squeezing hard now.

They are big enough that 90% of the people who do look at videos do it there. So a video that is posted elsewhere simply does not get the exposure that it does on YouTube.

That gives them a lot of power. And they use it to squeeze as much money as possible from anyone they can. Now, if they would do big squeezes, people would notice and they would at least try to find other sites.

So just like abuse, it's a slow process of tearing little barriers down of what is acceptable, until at some point users one by one start to realize it has all turned to shit.

But that is going to take a lot of time, and until that happens we are just going to see more reports about all the things YouTube does.

We will keep seeing angry nerds upset about it, and they will block ads and work around it. But nothing else will change. And that is such a small part of the userbase of YouTube that they don't even feel it.

So I'm going to block ads, watch what I want to watch as long as the site is usuable without ads, and I will stop using the site when ads can no longer be blocked. YouTube is simply not that important to me.

Why not, it will definitely reduce the amount of sick people. Because they are dead of course, but still.

Joking obviously.

Piracy is a service problem...

Well, I do believe there are used for it. But it is very annoying when Microsoft keeps throwing it into my face time after time. I don't want it, I don't need it, and yet it will always automatically start after an update. For that bullshit alone I already hate it so much I will never use it.

One of the many reasons I'm on Linux now.

It was because he went to the changing rooms to change his pants. So he was away from work like maybe 10 minutes.

Yes you should switch jobs. But make sure you have a good answer when they ask you why. You don't want to talk bad about your current employer to your possible new employer.

So find a positive way to describe why you are changing jobs. What are you looking for, what skills and area's do you want to grow in? This is important. Don't get hung up on your current job, find something new that you like doing and focus on your personal growth and career.

What is your experience you gained at your current job? Anything special that you archieven? You need to have an answer to that for your future employer. You don't need to lie, but you need to prepare for some questions.

I worked in a glasshouse for a while. Since everything is glass, and the temperature is pretty high, the new guy went to change his pants from long ones to short ones. The son of the boss, who just started recently, decided he did not like it and fired him on the spot.

I thought it was really stupid. Unfortunately there was no talking him out of it. The guy was hard to work with, and part of the reason I quit that job later.

Feeld mild today are we? I would give him five, but only if I could resist throwing him out myself.

Well, that is one of the typical things I would start thinking about when I am there... If I could go back it would be epic to do this. If not, I'll skip, thank you very much.

Was there every a better moment to see if you can ride a T-rex? See the dinosaurs walk the earth, experience the wild nature that must have been around back then. I bet we don't know about a lot of the amazing things from that time.

Of course you would have a hard time trying to survive, but it would be cool. Dangerous, but cool.

The problem is people are only going to change their behaviour once the consequences hit them, and with global warming, the consequences won't really hit them until a long time later.

The second problem is the consequences are dramatic. And very hard if not impossible to turn around.

To really get people and companies to change their behaviour, we would need an immediate consequence to behaviour that is bad for the environment.

Bottom line is, some people try, some people don't give a shit, and in the end we will have to deal with it.

I hope governments are watching carefully, we will need to keep a lot of water away from us in the future, and we'll have to deal with the changing climate too.
