Pretend it is 2021. Go through the comments in this thread and when you see "Bryce Young" replace with "Trevor Lawrence." The criticism and cocksure conclusions are identical in both form and content. It's deja vu for me.
"But ... but ... but what about Stroud?" Shit, all we heard in 2021 was "What about Justin Fields / Mac Jones, etc." It's deja vu for me.
Maybe Young will work out and maybe he won't, but it is entirely too early to draw any conclusion. At least Herbstreit knows this.
If the game is close, I'll be glad I watched. I'd rather see the Panthers play the Bears than the Eagles.
Unpopular opinion. I know the rule, but PI on the egregiously, deliberately underthrown ball should NOT be illegal. My god, Flacco literally made a career doing this.
