Do you use cloudfare tunnel or a vpn like tailscale or wireguard ? Why would you choose of these over the other? in c/[email protected]

I wanna host everything myself, but also love tailscale, so I'm using tailscale with headscale... It's so convenient to not open up ports, especially since I don't have a static IP

THIS could be a good alternative if you don't want to use Cloudflare tunnel, and it does not get talked about a lot here. in c/[email protected]

I use this for all my services that need to be accessible from the outside world... For my private services I use tailscale + headscale

I'm planning on starting something like that soon since I also wanna build my own router/firewall from scratch and couldn't be bothered to remember everything about iptables
