They've had them in English for years, same with the newsletter.

I've always just shown a scan of my ID on my phone. It's just a picture?

Can’t help but notice that all this talk of “the right to self government” is always appended to paragraphs firmly talking about what the US wants and the US does.

I am not a US citizen and there are plenty of instances of the US government not supporting self-determination. I was talking about myself and I would hope most people's opinion worldwide, not some governement.

The PRC didn't invade Tawia when they the ROC's army fled there. Is that because of the USA? Taiwan has been seperate from China for almost eighty years now, that's a long time!

There were socialist mayors in the USA so they actually won elections, I think that's more succesfull that getting loads of votes.

There are classics in different genres tbh. Not every classic is the same kind of story or style (although always a bit dated)

Dems started pre-blaming black men a couple days ago so who knows.

I don't see how this is such a big issue. Would feel weird to not be able to change username per server. Sometimes as my name for playing with friends or a pseudonyme if playing with strangers?

Didn't even bother watching the movie after seeing the teaser for it.

I don't understand why they change everything so much? Same thing with Percy Jackson. Especially after the huge success of Hary Potter, you'd think greedy studios would want that.

Try searching for people on Sepia Search or Peertubers' Wiki for those on Peertube?

I doubt they think that. You're being ridiculous. Taiwan is de facto independent, and there is some push over there to declare independence officially. The ROC is of a different era at the end of the day.

The USA doesn't officially recognize the ROC but it is US law that consular, travel and business relations between them. Nancy Pelosi travelled to Tawain only a couple years ago.

Anyway, the rights for all people to self-govern themselves should come first over all that.

I wonder what a "softline" is for a member of the Israeli government

I though a lot of their industry was also built on real cheap electricity thanks to them building their factories near dams and the like.

TLDR created with https://tldrthis.com/

Privacy regulations such as the GDPR say that you need to seek permission from your website visitors before tracking them.
Most GDPR consent banner implementations are deliberately engineered to be difficult to use and are full of dark patterns that are illegal according to the law.
I wanted to find out how many visitors would engage with a GDPR banner if it were implemented properly and how many would grant consent to their information being collected and shared.
If you implement a proper GDPR consent banner, a vast majority of visitors will most probably decline to give you consent.
