Sure the risk of getting shot but not crime in general (which makes sense given most other developed countries do not allow guns to the same extent.) The rhetoric that you are at serious risk of getting shot just walking down the street is absurd.

Homicide: Ranked 28 which is higher than other developed countries but still FAR from the highest https://wisevoter.com/country-rankings/murder-rate-by-country/

Rape: Ranked 13, below Iceland, Norway, and France.

Crime: Ranked 66 below Spain, France, and Italy. https://wisevoter.com/country-rankings/crime-rate-by-country/

It really isn't. You have to keep in mind the country is huge and shootings are done of the few things which makes international news. I live in Maryland and the only time I've felt unsafe going to Baltimore is getting lost at 11pm after a show

So ban people with dissenting opinions unless they are an expert. Seems like a great totally not authoritarian plan!

Literally proving my point. Nobody is saying to exterminate anyone except literal Nazis. I've had people claim that the left wants to be able to abort up til birth. You see how that is a gross mischarcterization of hundreds of millions of Americans? If you are claiming your side wants nothing but good and is perfect some the other is the literal devil there is something seriously wrong.

As a centrist, both sides scream that the other is to the extreme.

Out of curiosity how do you view people born intersex? Would you call an intersex person he/she regardless of how they wanted to be called?

It is extra frustrating since I would've gotten a wagon but the options are so limited.

Decades of car companies pushing them down consumers throats because they were classified as light trucks.

Short - Not sure, switching jobs and got a pay bump so probably max out my 401k and maybe open up an IRA.

Mid - Save up a downpayment for a bigger house. Once we have a kid this house is going to feel very cramped.

Long - Retire before 50. Maybe earlier because the concept of CoastFIRE fascinates me.
