Don't you hate it when people just put their own narrative on existing content.
You should be able to press cancel on the login screen and then update without it. At least a few months back that still worked.
It also has a much different target audience. You might remember the original show being memed by people that it's a shitty and cringe Anime, but Alicization is much different. The characters are grown up and I highly recommend it.

Yeah man, that's how it starts. You become the guy to answer question and before you know it you will be assigning tickets to yourself because nobody else can solve them.
Please be careful, I would not recommend that to anyone after living though it once.
