From TFA:

On Friday, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán called on the EU to intervene in a gas dispute that his country has with Ukraine. He said Kyiv’s decision to halt the transit of Russian gas into Central Europe had forced Hungary to turn to alternative routes, which raised energy prices.

To satisfy Orbán’s demand, the European Commission attached a statement to Monday’s sanctions rollover agreement, saying that it “expects all third countries to respect” EU energy security, and warned that it could take action to protect critical infrastructure like oil and gas pipelines.

“Hungary has received the guarantees it has requested concerning the energy security of our country,” Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said in a statement.

Thank you for posting the text! Maybe consider adding a spoiler tag though since this is so long?

The ability to use home-made inks, guache, and stick-inks makes Ackerman very special. Particularly since I get to use my favorite Brause Bandzug nibs. And of course there's the fact that they're a small specialty company helps make them "favorite".

If you're asking who makes my favorite pens for every day carry or low-maintenance with standard fountain pen inks, definitely Lamy. They will still stand out a bit in a business setting in a way that might be a bit uncomfortable for some, but not in the brute utilitarian way Ackerman's do. I love broad nibs, and frankenpens just aren't reliable enough for me at work.

This looks like an article they recycled from the first Trump administration when things were (very) bad, but still not as dire as this time around.

Do they need to be wine bottle shaped?

If swingtops that are shaped for beer work for you, find a local independent bar or pub. Stop by before opening and ask if they'd mind saving their swingtops for you.

When I did this, the answer "Sure, just bring one back for me with your first brew." More, they already had a box of them set aside.

Grolsch bottles are by far the most common and will be 450ml, green, and with a raised glass patterning. Those are the most common. 9 ounce bottles from small commercial breweries will be smooth clear or brown with paper labels you'll want to soak off, and they'll have significantly fewer of these.

Mixed. Very mixed.

Sick, but getting better (more positions I can lie or sit in without pain). Nothing life threatening.

Depressed, but getting stressed enough to get things done again if I were less sick.

Happy for my partner, who is moving today to a safer and more supportive locale. Hopeful about when I join them in a week or so. Stressed and uncertain about the medium-term stability there. Optimistic about the move in the long term. Dejected about the things that forced the move.

Particularly not without a spoiler tag so the video comes up browsing all

Agreed. I thought it was important to highlight anyway because it's a detail with a significant impact for a lot of people that hasn't been highlighted in any of the media coverage I've seen.

By my read, this temporary injunction applies ONLY to the plaintiff states - Washington, Arizona, Illinois, and Oregon. It doesn't stop it from being applied in the rest of the country.

Here's the judge's order.
