Uh, isn’t that what this is?

In “Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus”, the first few chapters talk about a man’s desire to fix problems and a woman’s desire to talk about problems. I don’t wanna step into the minefield of modern gender politics, but I do think in general this advice has helped me be a better boyfriend/partner.

So maybe less explaining why people are the way they are, and more “I hear you, that really sucks and I’m sorry they are being so rude”.

A wild read, thanks for sharing. A particular excerpt I thought was interesting:

For decades, certain new commanders of the Air Force’s most classified programs, as part of their induction briefings, would be handed a piece of paper with a photo of what looked like a flying saucer. The craft was described as an antigravity maneuvering vehicle.

The officers were told that the program they were joining, dubbed Yankee Blue, was part of an effort to reverse-engineer the technology on the craft. They were told never to mention it again. Many never learned it was fake. Kirkpatrick found the practice had begun decades before, and appeared to continue still. The defense secretary’s office sent a memo out across the service in the spring of 2023 ordering the practice to stop immediately, but the damage was done.

Insane that they systematically gaslight their best and brightest, and for what? Giggles?

Just repeat after me:

I’m a complete novice, so for anyone else who’s curious, it was launched May 20, 2005 and had an expected lifespan of 5 years. It’s was already serving in a secondary capacity having been replaced by newer versions. So not quite as sad/scary as it seems when I was fully ignorant.

These are so cute! I wouldn’t want you to have to send them to America and I’m awful about writing cards to loved ones, but if I were going to buy cards, you’d be first on my list!

Well have you ever gotten a banner of that size printed at Kinkos? In FULL COLOR mind you?! We had to use it!

That is a tooth if anyone was wondering.

A teenager was just shot to death in her home for existing and that’s your reaction? Bruh.

Welcome first of all! Glad to have you here.

Secondly, none of the clients I use show who downvoted your content, but I think the API has the information available to you if you make the raw calls. I could be wrong though.

Can you tell me more about what’s in them? Sounds delicious.

The biggest problem I see with this is staying current and sharp with your tech skills and also explaining those gaps. It’s definitely possible though, especially if you’re able to live frugally.

I saw another 2000 song posted and the op wasn’t immediately killed. It’s a bop though.
