There should be a failsafe for this because as this grows, you'd also have a lot of servers which are not feasible to maintain anymore and thus they'd go down. Maybe an instance dedicated to archiving could work. Other instances could refer to that archive in order for users to migrate without losing their settings.

Yeah it's quite easy. It took me barely a couple of hours to set up an entire server of sonarr/radarr/jackett/qbittorrent/jellyfin/jellyseer.

Isn't pixelfed more Instagram than imgur? I think they should still implement those 3 because the best way to get people on lemmy would be to get the established content creators using those platforms. Redgifs for example is a very good host for NSFW works.

Used to be one of the most reliable sources for west ham. Don't know if he still is.

Win XP is like Gen 1 pokémon games. A lot of the code was patches and fixes held by duct tape.

This is one of the reasons why I set up my own media server with jellyfin.

Ace Attorney. The first 3 and Edgeworth spinoffs are legit masterpieces.

I hope there is some way to implement something like streamable/imgur/redgifs on lemmy. I don't mind if it's these services if fediverse alternatives aren't there yet.

They form the backbone of content creation, from Porn to highlight clips of sports subreddits.

I agree. I think there are moderstion logs though which is a good step towards transparency, I think there should be admin logs too for the same.

As for the running costs, I hope there is a more transparent system rather than running it for profit and selling it to corporations.
