Kbin has been so much better than what I've seen of the official app. I see what I want to see, not recommendations, and, more importantly, I can see a lot more posts at once compared to new reddit and the reddit app. That's why I don't use Squabbles, and it's why I used Baconreader and old reddit.

Halo 3 ODST. Uses Halo 3's engine, so it has the same incredible physics as it, with great vibes to it as well.
If you're into Pokemon, the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games are fantastic. They aren't the hardest roguelike in the world (still harder than a mainline Pokemon game though), but they're fun. The stories are also incredible (can only speak for Rescue Team and Explorers, haven't played the 3DS titles yet).
- I like the UI more
- Not developed by tankies
- Catchier name IMO (reminds me of GabeN, while Lemmy makes me think of Lemmings, which isn't the best)
- Microblogs are neat
Arknights (shout out to my kbin mag [email protected]). It's a fun lil tower defense that you can easily pull out and grind some materials. Keep in mind that it is a gacha game, so there's definitely aggressive monetization, but it's definitely on the F2P-friendly side in terms of gacha.
Slide out controller, like the Xperia Play. I've gotten super into (at least the idea of) SBC handheld gaming, and there's just nothing quite like the Xperia Play now. Sure, there's bluetooth controllers, but I'm not a big fan of bluetooth, and the majority of the bluetooth controllers make portability a pain rather than it being a sleek package.
Pathfinder was when I first played it. A lot of the launch issues were fixed, but it wasn't completely overwhelming with content like every other time since then I try to do a new playthrough.
No Man's Sky in general. My first time playing it was absolutely magical.
My normal S10 was incredible until it finally broke a couple weeks ago. Felt super modern even 4 years after launch. Make sure to get the Snapdragon model if you do go with the S10e though @sosimple530
Grand Blue is a blast, as well as being pretty accurate with the diving stuff.
Hopefully people are able to realize what the corresponding platform is doesn't matter, it can be anything.
When I first joined the Fediverse I saw a decent amount of people saying that they didn't want kbin/lemmy to have email verification. Is this what they wanted? Fake growth?
