Isn't it wonderful?

Personally, so far I adore it. It doesn't scratch that... Endless content consumption itch that Reddit did. There are a lot less users, so there's a lot less "fresh" content piling up on my home feed for me to scroll through and huff air out my nose at.
It's been a bit of an adjustment, but now that I'm more used to it it's definitely a welcome change. I find myself actively engaging more instead of just scrolling by, contributing instead of lurking.
Welcome to Lemmy!
There are a lot less people on here, but I feel a lot more keyed in and engaged with the communities I am a part of on here. It's nice!
What a great set of resources! Especially GoL for us Linux gamers. Thanks for the callout!
I've yet to start using it myself, but I've seen Bluesnews suggested a lot! Apparently he's old blood in the gaming news reporting area, and it's been run by this one guy since it's inception in 1996. It's very active still, constantly reporting. Link: https://www.bluesnews.com/
Primarily my PC. AMD Ryzen 5 2600, Radeon RX 580, 16Gb RAM, running OpenSUSE as my OS. I have a PS4 I keep around basically just for Bloodborne at this point, and a Switch for Pokémon and Monster Hunter. Less so the second, now that the newer releases are coming to PC.
Beasts of Maravilla Island! I got it in a Humble Bundle recently. I didn't intend to play it, but I got bored of everything in my library one night and started rolling through the games I got in that bundle.
It's a fun game in the same vein as Pokémon Snap. You are the granddaughter of an explorer, headed out to photograph the wildlife of an island he discovered. The story is short and sweet, and the environments are plenty of fun to explore! The creature designs are cute. Best of all, the price is right. It's only $10 on Steam, now that the bundle is gone.
True enough, but this project has a pretty clear roadmap with planned features laid out and the developers themselves raised the concern of giving new players the wrong idea in their FAQs about a Steam release.
I'll definitely be checking it out for myself, though.
This looks like a very interesting project! But it looks like it's still in pre-alpha. That's not a bad thing, it's just important to note for anyone thinking of trying it so they don't get the wrong idea about the state of the game. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on it!
Skyrim, hands down. I own that game... Let's see, 360, PS3, PC, PC Special Edition, 4 times. I own that game 4 times and have been playing it on and off (more on than off) since it came out. Never even gotten halfway through the main questline.
Frog's Theme slaps. Honestly, the whole soundtrack for this game is incredible.
I definitely have been! I'm mostly active in [email protected] and [email protected] right now, trying to branch out and do more across the ~~website~~ Fediverse. :)
