There isn't a way to block whole instances.I'm not sure about the second point, so hopefully someone else can answer that for you. You can suggest features here.

@Jormar Sometimes the servers die due to ernest experimenting with new features. It will be more stable in the future.

@DerpyPoint A bit of a long shot, but you can promote someone else as mod and have them delete the post.

@DerpyPoint There are 2 ways to delete posts. One if through "more">"delete" and the other way is "more">"moderate">"delete". Try both ways and see if it helps.

@DerpyPoint Where are you trying to delete it from? Is it from other instances or in kbin?

This is cool. While I found the regular UI fine for me, I get why some people would want something like this. Nice job!

ernest currently disabled the API to focus on the website. He will probably re-enable it later down when he finalizes the website.

The magazine can be found here, all though it hasn't been updated yet. It might take a day for it to update.
