ah yeah I havent looked into the configs too much. Not sure how it would deal with renames but you can ask in the lemmy matrix or something
Ategon
for the backend yes
frontend is a separate project but its using similar things to construct it so if its a vital feature it can be redone in lemmy-ui pretty quickly. Already gave them code block support for 0.18
Yeah you can redirect or you can make lemmy.[something] and forum.[something] point towards the same ip or same port depending on how youve set it up (if you want lemmy.[something] to still work else you can just change it to forum)
yeah I can add in a post template to the guidelines. probably wont make it mandatory or else itll probably just end up annoying first time posters more than anything when their stuff gets removed
still semi fleshing it out but I think something like people adding on two links to posts they reviewed in the post requesting review
or trying to plan out if theres a way I can automate it with a bot by commenting a certain thing on a post that requested review to mark that you reviewed it
with that there would need some way for people to have things to initially review to get the community started. Could do something like after the first 3 posts the point system goes into effect
that only works for certain file types afaik. I know in 4.1 there was one time I messed with a files location and had to update manually, forget which file type it was though
Just created a community request post for it https://programming.dev/post/6295144
If anyone is interested upvote the request and if anyone wants to mod it let me know
Edit: community has been made at [email protected]
"No connection to the Voyager app, it's a staging environment for Lemmy named re: Star Trek". Theyre saying its a staging area for lemmy itself not voyager
its named after the tv series star trek voyager. theres also enterprise.lemmy.ml named after star trek enterprise
that exists in instances such as lemmit.online
the issue with having that in the main communities is communication will be one way if you try to reply to that. Theres bots such as the l4s bot that is in the middle of the two that ocasionally cross-posts link posts that are popular though. Thats still controversial but can be easily blocked
Yeah I reduced the amount of transparency on the post cards after this round of testing. Now only half transparent
