This is a re-release of Ninja Five-O, a Game Boy Advance game that had never been released onto another platform until now. Originally developed by Hudson Soft, it's been ported to PC by Limited Run Games. In terms of graphics, it mostly preserves the original, keeping things at a 4:3 aspect ratio. Fittingly, this also has full gamepad support.

Personally, I think the price is a little too high, but if you're a fan of this game, it's now on Steam.

I'm not the biggest fan of visual novels, but I think it's important to hear from Russian anti-war voices. Plus, this is free and it has native compatibility with Mac and Linux.

A re-release of a 1998 helicopter sim that's still PC exclusive. Back in the day, it got good reviews. Some people will hate that this is no longer abandonware, but others will love that they can buy this legally for cheap. And it is cheap right now with an introductory price of C$5.84.

The graphics are preserved in glorious 4:3 aspect ratio. And this very much looks like a 90s PC game.

East meets West in an apocalyptic clash of the superpowers as the US Apache Longbow and the Russian Havoc go head to head. Easily accessible yet deeply challenging gameplay, an intense and absorbing atmosphere and super- fast speeds make the Apache Havoc an amazing flying experience.

A 2D bullet hell vertical shoot-'em-up. It has gamepad support, and an introductory price of C$4.86.

Is it any good? I don't know but, to my eyes and ears, it could be good. There are no reviews for this yet.

Experience intense, fast-paced action as you dodge enemy fire, collect Xsteel scrap, and upgrade powerful ship systems. Navigate across beautiful expanses of the galaxy in levels filled with challenging foes and epic boss battles.

Exactly what you think it is: a 2D rogue-like with turn-based combat. It's got an art style -- and colour palette -- that pretty much stay true to the original rogue-likes. Not very many features here, but at C$4.99, it's cheap. There's only two reviews, so again, buyer beware.

Head out into the woods and find the dreaded Underlair in this traditional turn-based roguelike.

Seems like a fun top-down shooter with hack-'n-slash aspects. It has a nice pixelated art-style with a black, white, and red colour palette.

No reviews so buy with caution. At an introductory price of C$5.19, it is cheap.

Here's a cozy colony sim / city builder.

There's a lot to like about this game. It's got native Mac and Linux compatibility, and gamepad support for Xbox and DualShock gamepads. Which means it will probably work well on a Steam Deck.

There's also low spec requirements. You only need 1GB of RAM and a GeForce 840M -- which pretty much means most PCs made within the past five years can play this game. And despite the low specs requirements, it has attractive visuals too.

The best part is the introductory price of C$7.74.

Most reviews are positive, though this game has its detractors too.

Stellar Settlers is a chill space base/city builder and colony sim game. With unique vertical and horizontal base-building gameplay, settle on 10 hostile alien planets and build your own thriving colony. Get enough materials to build a physics-based Spaceship and try to escape from disasters.

Thanks! If I can remember these, I'll try and do that.

A survival horror FPS with PS2-style visuals. This has gamepad support too!

But the most compelling aspect of this game is that it has online PvP and co-op. And it's got an introductory price of C$5.84.

So far, all the reviews are positive.

If you like bullet hell shoot-'em-ups with 2.5D visuals, this could be up your alley.

Not much in the way of reviews yet, but there's a demo for you to try out before you buy. This has native Linux compatibility, which means it's highly likely to work on Steam Deck. It also has full gamepad support.

What might make this worthwhile is the shared co-op.

Also, if you like the soundtrack, you can buy it as DLC.

At C$19.49, that's probably the price I'd pay for it.

No reviews yet, and I'm typically not a fan of visual novels. However, I really like the art style and it's got a fairly unique story. It has an introductory price of C$4.49, so it's worth checking out.
