I used to do 3rd party repairs, and it's impossible to describe how fucked up some devices were that came to me from other repair places. Missing screws, shields, screws put back int he wrong places and occasionally they had worked with a bad tech that damaged the mainboard.
As much as I hate Meta, this is just going to become a "cost of doing business". They have $32B in yearly revenue, this would cost them $36.5mil a year, a small drop in the bucket to what they bring in.
Gas pumps are pretty standardized, I’ve traveled all over the country and not once have I looked at a gas pump and been like “how the fuck do I use this?”, that sounds like a personal problem.
