I've never seen an AI upscaled image that didn't look like shit. Even if it looked good it would still be artificial. We could go into the philosophy of weather or not a photo is an accurate snapshot of a moment in time, but think of it this way: let's say we have a photo of you. Let's also say you want to upscale that photo of you to some redicously high resolution for some reason. The AI upscaled image created is no longer a photo of you. It is an machine's best guess at what you look like in Super 14K or whatever resolution. In essence, It's inauthentic.

This is what I've been saying. The gatekeeping is unreal. How the fuck are we supposed to grow as a movement if we can't accept those who maybe did and/or said some questionable shit in the past? If someone is trying to make positive changes and is demonstrating it with their actions and/or words than we should accept them. I guarantee the vast majority of you here have said or did something that goes against your current beliefs.

How do I actually read more? Like how do force myself to read a book. I have some cool books I'd like to read but it's hard to choose it over say a video game. I also have ADHD.
