for YEARS I refused to use the site which should not be named because I hated the UI. RIF is literally the only reason I explored outside the group I joined for.
delirium
for me, it was community I was seeking, and honestly not finding on Reddit. this, for me, may be what I wanted Reddit to be all along. taking that into consideration makes this less a replacement and more of what was missing. what I did love about Reddit was answers. content. we will get to watch that blossom. it's kinda exciting. also, I got my old username for the first time in 2 decades.
I'm just glad to be here. it fills the void while I'm waiting for that habit to die. and maybe I'll make some friends or at least have civil conversations with people.
Of all the flaws Reddit hosted, Internet communities was definitely one.
right! I'm so glad I didn't buy one preemptively. at least I'll get the new one.
2019 ... but yeah. Metroid is my favorite franchise of all time
maybe sooner than you think cuz Reddit is bots and scabs now.
if it's like elder scrolls online I don't want anything to do with it. I was so excited for it because the only thing I wanted from Skyrim was multiplayer. but ... well .... you know the rest.
it's been 6 years since MP4 was announced. and it will be literally the only reason I buy a switch.
why do you doubt it? there are thousands of new people flooding in daily. set up the mags and post for engagement? sounds like a lot of work but I understand what you're missing, my communities are not here either, but I'm going to do my best to make a space for them.
like Metroid Prime 4??? does it even exist?
when I used imgur, before I was active on Reddit, I loved getting upvotes. but on Reddit, it seemed like a bit more of a slog and it wasn't immediately visible, so pretty unimportant to me.
at least it's nonsense.
