why would it be a problem for thunderbird to do that (assuming they do it offline. you don't need an internet connection for if "attached" in body)

doesn't that also not solve the problem if the search engines it is searching are manipulating results?
yeah, there are certainly some rough edges, but nothing too terrible. if i had the expertise I'd gladly contribute but android is a beast of an ecosystem to learn
