That sounds impractical. What else do you consider behavior-to-avoid, other than low quality and reposts? Do lemmy has anything in built to avoid reposts, or low quality posts? Goals on lemmy.ml don't mention this. Is this something you personally want, or are these [email protected] goals?

I hope I am not coming off as argumentative/offensive. I am genuinely curious.

Genuinely clueless, is XMPP relevant anymore? I consider myself reasonably technical, and when it comes to chat, here's what comes to mind:

  1. IRC
  2. Slack / Zulip / Mattermost
  3. Discord
  4. Matrix / Element

If I was to use Gajim, who would I talk to? e.g any communities or projects

What do lemmurs want? I am new here.

Seeing low activity here, I was thinking of creating a bot which can bring content from /r/india. Here's what I have in mind:

  1. Every hour, post top 30 posts from /r/india to /c/india
  2. Also cross-post comments from all the posts we cross-post i.e if someone posts a comment on reddit, post it here; and if someone responds to a comment here, re-post it on appropriate thread in reddit

What do guys think? Is it a good idea? In my mind it can help break content monopoly of reddit.
