I’d say that’s a bit late
Kinda surprising nobody thought to make a lightgun version of xkill. At least, a few minutes of searching and I can’t find anything
My hair is thick and waist length. In the summer months I have to have it tied up somehow or I overheat, much to the annoyance of people in my life who like to see it down 😅
I’ve considered trying natural lightening techniques (some people say lemon juice, others in my family with similar hair say it works) to lighten it to reduce the heat. Maybe this year I’ll give it a go.
One other thing I’ll say is that if you’re already hot, adding volume makes it worse as it traps warm air
It is my understanding that Apple actually wanted to use 3.5mm jacks for their ADB keyboard/mouse interface in the early days, and some prototypes exist which used the jacks.

The plug manufacturers couldn’t guarantee that you wouldn’t sometimes get high resistance issues if the plugs were left connected all the time. On a pair of headphones you’d hear that as static and turn the plug or unplug/insert to get it going again. But you can’t “hear” through a keyboard.
They used mini DIN 4 instead.
At this point I think that’s probably a feature
Yeah I take the tips off and only clean those bits. On my earbuds they have a pretty good mesh filter which stops wax etc. getting further into them
I use an ultrasonic cleaner with warm soapy water. Works wonders - they basically look new!
Can it play Doom?
That repo is an amazing example of something so well documented as to how it works they completely neglected to have even a paragraph explaining what it really does and why I would want to use it.
As far as I can tell it’s a Spotify connect client which runs as a daemon so you probably need to control it remotely? Kinda like how AirPlay works on apple devices? Is that right?
I can’t stand voice assistants. I have ZigBee switches all over the house for lights, or I control things directly from my phone. Works really well for me!
These really annoy me. I used to spend a lot of time in Sweden so I tried pretty hard to get an account set up to let me pay by swish. I gave up. If you’re not a resident you can’t get a person number so you can’t get a bank ID so you can’t use swish.
What is frustrating is that lots of places I went required swish and wouldn’t take cash or card, so I ended up having to get other people to pay for me.
I bet many other systems in other countries are similar
