If we use gravel then even enough of that coming on the track could trigger a red flag. TechPro walls look like a better solution than gravel.

The main issue is the intransigence of the drivers. I say put grass there for the F1 race every year and then pave it over for the other series. The track owners can send the yearly bill to the GPDA.

Well at least he did not get to hog the race lead for the entire race. I will take whatever silver lining I can get. 😝😝😝

Well we are close to the summer break so tough questions have to be asked. If Alpine are willing to give him a longer runway, then more power to him and them.

You are right, Alfa are nearly non-existent no? Not the case with Alpha though. At least not with TSU.

Remember what they say about F1. It’s a piranha club!

Forgot about that fuckery, it’s so new. Adding an update in the post.

Apparently other series that run at the track would become more unsafe if grass or gravel was introduced at those places. It’s plainly F1 drivers taking advantage of a situation when they have been warned not to do so.

Adding grass or gravel for the F1 weekend and then repaying the surface for other series seems to be the only viable solution. The track should do that next year and send the bill to the GPDA.

Update: The stewards have said they had 1,200 reports of track limit infringements to review. They sound as frustrated about them as we do. At the end of their statement they said something like, "As we have in the past, we recommend this track add gravel or grass on turns 9 and 10."

Yup work well done. Deserves an applause.

FYI, AM have protested the result as they think many drivers were noted but not penalised for track limits. Hold on to the F5 key.

Who knows? A pack of lemurs might kidnap him before the end of the season. Got to keep fighting eh?
