@TheRtRevKaiser

For sure, a large part of the hate was IMO manufactured.

I go by hybrid havoc. I work in information technology for higher education, dealing largely with Ellucian Colleague and other peripheral applications. I am also the admin of https://darkfriend.social which is a Mastodon instance that was spun up for fans of the Wheel of Time fantasy series. I am a big fan of fantasy and science fiction in general.

Mostly my darkfriend.social account is my primary account on the Fediverse. I may occasionally post here from my beehaw account.

@strudel6242 Very interested to see how this one does. I’m really curious about the controller redesign and tracking. I was honestly already considering picking up a pair of the controllers from the Quest Pro but if these are improved over the Quest 2 controllers then maybe that won’t be needed.

@m_talon I recently played Planet of Lana on there and it’s really great. My favorite game so far this year.

@Onihikage

The No Man’s Sky overhaul was just for the PS5 I think, bringing the controls on that platform more in line with others. The menus stuck to hands is still a thing, and it’s still way too cumbersome IMO.

@runekn Yes, though not as often as I probably should. My go-to game is still Beat Saber. I use a Quest 2, typically paired to my PC through a link cable or Air Link.

I’ve had persistent issues with the link cable though, with periodic stuttering. It used to be really bad but a recent change to the cable has improved it slightly. Still, even just a couple of stutters is really bad. Air Link doesn’t suffer from this, but has lower quality in general.
