Great read, thanks for the effort in putting this together!

When WSL2 first came out, some losers on /g/ were cheering that it would "make Linux obsolete". Four years later, I think it's safe to say they were kinda missing the point. in c/[email protected]

Yeah, Windows 11 removed the ability to move your taskbar around, can only be at the bottom of the screen now.

Do you use all your self hosted services? Are there any you found to be not worth it after installing? in c/[email protected]

I use the wide majority of what I setup, sometimes I end up taking it back down, but you're right that it's a good learning opportunity. Nothing wrong with throwing some stuff up just to check out.

Sometimes things may not be useful for you but may be useful for others as well, if you wanted to share, a music streaming setup could be nice to share with friends.
