I used to play RTS games like Warhammer, then got into Heroes of Might and Magic and its spin-offs like Pennon and Battle. I've also played XCOM 2 and Age of Wonders 4. Any other must-play series you'd recommend?

Any new strategy games worth checking out? Recently tried Pennon and Battle, which is similar to HOMM, and the roguelike strategy game Into the Breach. Just waiting for HOMM Olden Era to come out!

Happy new year guys!😀 Just now, it hit midnight here, and it's officially 2025. I was playing Pennon and Battle, and I realized it's the last game I played in 2024!! That gave it a different kind of meaning. Now I'm curious, what was the last game you played in 2024?

Unfrozen and Paul Anthony Romero are collaborating again to compose music for the new HOMM Olden Era. It's so exciting, and it's a favorite among strategy game players! Pennon and Battle and Songs of Conquest from 2024 were great, and I'm looking forward to the return of the Heroes of Might and Magic series in 2025!

I found a new strategy wargame "Pennon and Battle" on Steam. It's surprising to see that there are still teams willing to make games similar to Heroes of Might and Magic III. It can't help but remind me of the good old days when I used to play H3.

After starting work, I feel so tired every day, so I just want to play some casual games. Recently, I'm playing survivor-like games like Vampire Survivors and Darkchaser. They're simple and fun, but after a while, they get a bit boring. So, I'm looking for other casual game recommendations, preferably single-player games that can be paused at any time, like Plants vs Zombies. Thanks!

Wukong is definitely one of my favorite games this year. I haven't played Souls-like games before, I mostly played action roguelikes like Dead Cells, Temtem:swarm and Darkchaser. So, Wukong is a bit challenging but very fun for me. I still remember the excitement after defeating The Great Sage's Broken Shell.

Play Death Stranding needs to be patient

The Steam achievement in Darkchaser is quite interesting—one of them requires you to travel the distance equivalent to circling the Earth once, and another requires the distance from the Earth to the Moon.  However, I still want to complain: is anyone actually able to complete this? I know it's a game that requires you to run around all the time, and I've already played for 100 hours, but it's still far from enough  :D

SteamDeck TOP Played list.

In the past week, I've already spent dozens of hours on the new DLC of Brotato and Vampire Survivors, it's so addictive! In a few weeks, there will also be the official releases of DarkchaserBattletide and Jotunnslayer. There are just too many survivor-like games to play!
