@[email protected] I do not think I have ever seen a brambling! I have to check the map, I guess they can be found in some other areas of Germany - maybe in the south?
I am sure the summary by the NABU will be interesting.

I think the challenge for photography is to find a new perspective or just to see what is interesting in something you get to see very often. If you really watch and take interest nothing in nature ever gets boring... I cannot help it I love all animals, plants and fungi. πŸ’š

I hardly ever see female pheasants. I'm not sure if they are that rare or only well hidden with their camouflage feathers... πŸ˜„
