It doesn't have to be dangerous to be a a yellow. Sliding tackles where you get nowhere near the ball are regularly yellow cards, especially when they prevent the opposition player get into the area like this one. It's an incredibly obvious yellow card and I'm genuinely baffled people are arguing otherwise.
