Lettuce is a topping. It goes on top.

His "occasional voice" was often the opposite of how he voted. He said that J6 was impeachable, then voted against it, saying "He's been voted out, so it doesnt matter." He was voted back in, which a conviction wouod have prevented, so it very much mattered.

This of course was a convient excuse to sound reasonable and act maliciously. Almost any "principled" stance of his is countered by his actions.

Its also important to note they are striking right as the NY correction officers that flagrantly murdered Robert brooks with zero provocation were arrested.

That brutal murder, with 18 people involved, was done so casually that the governor is enforcing body camera usage for every inmate interaction, and a 400 million dollar spend to add cameras that cover all of the spaces inside NY prisons.

They are also striking because they won't be able to beat and murder people anymore.

"Corporations are people, my friend."

No, it applies to "anyone," its just that corporations can drag lawsuits on for years, so they get to make sweet heart deals for their crimes that the test of us dont.

To reiterate this, in the US, buying anything over 5% of a public company requires public disclosure to the SEC, as it means the buyer has immense influence on that company. At that point other shareholders, i.e other owners, should know about it.

Keeping your hair out of water when you have feet and feet of it to maintain isn't uptight, it's just efficient.

Its even more egregious.

So far, doge claims it saved 45 billion on its website. When you add up the actual reciepts posted, it's 16 billion. Of that 16 billion, half is this false 8 billion, which is 8 million, with 2.5 million already paid out, so actually just 5.5 million.

So even by their records, which are not trustworthy, they may have cut 8 billion. The 100 billion number? Just something Charlie kirk made up. No other hard data at all.

Check out propublica. They partner with a lot of local journalists to tease out deeper stories, often in topics that aren't getting much press. They would absolutely appreciate a donation.

The president has some leeway, but our support for Ukraine was because we passed laws to support them.

The Trump admin cant pass any laws. Its why they are trying to go all in on executive power, even when its illegal. They lack legislative power due to a fractured congress, even in their own party.

They barely control the house, and many republicans actually want to support Ukraine. and will not be able to sanction Ukraine or materially support russia.
