that depends on what you eat instead but also has absolutely nothing to do with carnism.

Why don't you answer? I'd prefer to stick to one matter at a time. If you answer what you think it means then it would be easier to talk about whether or not you have some point. Otherwise I would be guessing at your thoughts.

What do you think carnism means?

Every single person who did this should be hung.

I really mean this, absolute crimes against humanity. These are the orders you need to refuse.

Power is pretty corrupting and anyone who is a famous person (as in, public enough to maintain fame as opposed to just broad recognition) probably has a bit of an ego.

I mean your average normal person would be like "Don't idolise me, I'm just someone who writes books you like. Now please leave me alone" not posting on tumblr to adoring young fans.

Yep. Holy shit I was stunned at how rapidly the apparently caring people around me, could reproduce the most vile, reactionary garbage when prompted.

Naïve me assumed they just didn't have the info; Most refused to even look at it. They became, or rather were revealed to be, exactly the sort of reality-denying bigot I've spent my life fighting with.

It was extremely demoralising and I am a much more guarded and standoffish person than before now.

John Watson is a traditional whale hunter hunter. I think perhaps we should all participate in his traditional culture, it must be kept alive after all.

It's also worth considering that oyster farming has, like all industrial agriculture, negative impacts on the environment. I think a lot of people conflate the good that natural or cultured oyster population left alone can do (filtration etc) with the farmed ones.

The farming process can disrupt critical waterways and harm habitats for species. For such fragile environments this is perhaps more concerning than crop agriculture, much like farming the Amazon being a dubious proposition. If you are convinced that oysters are unfeeling rocks then this should still concern you.

The implication is repressed her feelings of queerness.

Well, rather than gloating about how stupid I am and failing to uphold the standards of behaviour of the community you registered at. Why don't you explain what you think the person was referring to wrt envy etc? Or are you more interested in mockery than being helpful?
