Tons of little accessories like this.

Feels kind of silly when the real hardware controls are a foot away. I’m surprised these haven’t gotten a resurgence in popularity with current touchscreen DAPs.

Is that real? That’s screwed up, my CC offers insurance on my phone if I pay my bill using it and I get cash back. I’d switch carriers over this.

I have an ancient early W7-era AMD dual core (bulldozer based? So it’s actually like 1.5c) that runs just peachy on Lubuntu LTS, 8gb of mismatched used Ram I got for free, and an ancient slow HDD.

I use it for D&D (Roll20 and Foundry) and MTG (Cockatrice).

I tested W10 with a ReadyBoost sd card and 2gb RAM and it barely worked.

Rimworld is fantastic if that genre of game interests you.

Dwarf Fortress is also on sale if you want something a little more intense and clunky, the QOL changes for the Steam version modernize it quite a bit.

Consumers absolutely have a choice. Stop buying unfinished AAA games that have intrusive DRM and the problem solves itself.

I haven’t bought a game with Denuvo or similar always-on schemes in… probably about 6 years. I do plenty of PC gaming.

There’s a boardgame bar around here. It’s fine - but attached to a LGS so that may not meet the definition that you’re looking for.
