Just means I don't expect them to do anything constructive but maybe they will work against big tech (I doubt)

Thanks for compilation, hopefully next administration can at least do what your post suggests.

This is how it's feeling like, last few weeks. I'll somehow need to justify keeping my proton plan

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 weeks ago

Oh interesting, is that for all charging networks?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

I see so charger can identify car attached to account? Uses payment method associated with account, is that it?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 weeks ago (2 children)

Privacy is one part, but I've accepted that if I'm getting new car I can't just expect privacy.

However I'm using pinephone these days I don't have access to apps

So the RFID cards r like identity or r they payment cards? plugshare is just a webpage so that's good, I'll spend some time on it.

I don't own an EV yet so have a pretty basic question. Do all charging stations need smartphone (app) to use? Can I just drive up to a station and pay to charge? (If yes which network)

USA specific (of others r interested just add international info as well)

I agree about VAG group and Telo itself is startup in big (from investment POV) field. However I do want both of them to be successful enough to continue production (we will see though)

For future I'm looking at Telo and Scout. Obviously can't yet comment on reliability and privacy concerns but iirc both will have tactile feel.

I'm not in market for new laptop for another year (half year). However are there any price expectations with tariffs (USA)? (Are there any statements made by framework company?)

[EDIT]: I've decided to get the laptop.

Can I interact/follow bluesky user from mastodon? I run mastodon instance, don't want to run bluesky as well.

Got into rolling release very recently with Manjaro (realized Debian doesn't have rolling release). Just started getting used to arch packaging. I wouldn't consider myself knowledgeable in rolling release options

Haven't touched suse ecosystem since they were suse. Now I just feel comfortable with Debian or arch.

Is it possible? (waze has mp3 files available) - https://github.com/pipeeeeees/waze-voicepack-links

[EDIT] osmand path is : /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/net.osmand.plus/files/voice/en

Going to try replacing some of those files, as long as purpose matches. I'll update this thread.

I would like to control few functions while driving. navigation (osmand), play music (multiple apps) are main ones. As of now I think either voice assistant or car UI are 2 options. So are there any apps supporting these?

[EDIT2] (at top to make sure visibility) All good, as explained in one of the posts. I shouldn't expect pressure regulator to work directly at faucet. (Use tee or splitter) Here is video https://youtu.be/gp4aquT19LA

[Just started looking into drip irrigation] I'm using rainbird 25PSI pressure regulator along with pressure guage. (https://www.amazon.com/Rain-Bird-HT07525PSI-Irrigation-Regulator/dp/B0049C5FZA)

Pressure guage measures about 70PSI without regulator (directly at garden faucet), however this doesn't really change even after using pressure regulator.

Am I misunderstanding pressure regulator? or is guauge/regulator broken?

[EDIT] Here is what I'm talking about (in both cases it reads about 60PSI):

How do I use exportify or any other option to download favorites / playlists etc (in lossless format) from any music services. I'm using soulseek but I'll check any other option if available. [EDIT]: I'm not trying to download from Spotify, looking for interfacing workflow between Spotify and Soulseek.

I want to access my pc / steamdeck from laptop. All 3 devices have different aspect ratio screens. Is there a way to use steam link with guest (laptop in this case) aspect ratio? Or is there any other solution than steam link?

[EDIT]: I don't game as much, I'm mostly accessing PC / deck (in desktop mode) from laptop. When I'm playing game I generally use actual device.

[EDIT2]: Decided to go with sunshine - moonlight, seems to do everything I was looking for.

I would like to use openstreetmap as replacement for google maps (on web) However default nominatim doesn't generally give correct address (when searched for POI). Is there way to change nominatim provider?

FPS counter at bottom right shows consistent, however game stutters (feels like low FPS).

What can be the causes or how do I start debugging? (Installed ubisoft client through lutris and then added it to steam library)

Mostly bollywood OST and arabic If possible lossless.

I'm trying to get my group to play games with mumble instead of discord.

I see lot of interest and ease of installation around matrix and jitsi, however mumble seems not talked about much.

I am looking for a guide of sort to setup mumble the easy way, i don't want to get new domain and vps and i don't want to open ports in my home router.

I've tailscale/headscale running off site with tunnel to home And i also have matrix server running with traefik.

If anyone have experience in the similar scenario i would like to know

I'm looking to get started with hardware keys. My use case is (to start with): Running vaultwarden instance and would like to lock/unlock vaultwarden with hardware key and vaultwarden takes care of actual password storage

I'm looking at solokeys just because of open source nature, however I didn't find much info about protocol support.

For Yubikey 5C NFC I see following

Multi-protocol: YubiKey 5 Series is the most versatile security key supporting multiple authentication protocols including FIDO2/WebAuthn (hardware bound passkey), FIDO U2F, Yubico OTP, OATH-TOTP, OATH-HOTP, Smart card (PIV) and OpenPGP.

I don't yet use OTP / PIV etc. Is there a tabular form of comparison between 2? Is there any downside in getting solokeys?
