On android I prefer cromite. Dont know how it compares with ungoogled chromium on windows though. Firefox is the superior choice on desktop

  1. Never saw a use for something like this

  2. Other manufacturers had it for years

Android is not really at risk when using an up to date os and not giving the app sensitive permissions. Android apps are sandboxed and canot do much without permissions. If you want to be sure, use virustotal as other recommended in the thread. Also maybe avoid sketchy sources

Do not do this with other coins. I used a cent instead of a penny and my microwave blew up.

This annoyed me so much in watch dogs

I recommend urlcheck from fdroid. Shows you the url and plenty of other features like removing tracking parameters

Samsung and Google promise 5 years of updates. Google is said to provide more with the pixel 8.

Samsung charges 140 to 175 € for a repair on the s23. While almost twice as much as the fairphone, I still think its fair. I have to agree that what apple charges is way to much but that's how it is.

As for durable I meant no random hardware fails. They are incredibly long lasting. My galaxy s4 and s6 still work to this day.

I'm also using telegram but I don't trust it. It's made by two Russian brothers who are fleeing from every country in the world. A bit to sketchy in my opinion.

Occasionally sluggish performance

Wonder how it will be in 5 years. Personally think you'd be better of buying high end now and keeping it longer. Also I never had any component fail on my Samsung devices (except screen but that was self inflicted and the repair prices of samsung are more than fair). Same with iPhones, they are way more durable than fairphones.

I think it is self incriminating giving them your pin but they can force you to use biometrics.

I heard that one time so don't quote me on that.

Now the 20% performance increase from last years becomes 10 and you have basically the same phone as last year. Good job to ensure people preorder.
