Biden did and he got the boot, along with all the Democrats. Trump didn't and he won the popular vote.

I don't think doing good matters.

That's a cynical take. Thinking the President is the only office worth voting for, is inaccurate. Imagine what Congress can do, if every voter was diligent. The president can do nothing but toe the line, in that case.

Outside of a swing state, you can still vote on local and down-ticket candidates who match your values. You can vote on state propositions, like funding for public transportation.

Civic participation is like getting your voice heard. The more voices we have, the less extreme the country will be.

Sitting on the sidelines watching the country tear itself apart is not really helping anyone, in my opinion.

Democrats don't seem to like democracy. Voters don't care about democracy. Republicans actually hate democracy.

Why do we follow democracy again? Let's just give Trump endless terms, once and for all.

Objectively, the standards applied to the two candidates is wildly different, I'm not sure why we blame anyone other than voters, at this point.

I'm sorry, since when is circumventing primary process worse than literally trying to steal an election? You want the perfect Democrat to run, while the other side is running a joke.

Let's not kid ourselves, the reason Democrats lost was because of economy and voter apathy. Otherwise, we wouldn't see Democrats lose control of all branches of the government. No matter what strategies they adopted, it wouldn't have worked.

She was already a VP and our country still has inflation. People are idiots and blame it on Democrats.

Until my retirement, yes. My pants are my investments.

I just pee in my pants. It's even faster, works regardless of how tubular your genitalia are, and doesn't require external water.

With the time saved not having to go to the washroom, I've opened a car wash where I use my wet pants to wipe dirty cars. Now I get paid to pee.

Next, I'm looking at business ideas for the diarrhea in my pants.

I don't play every game out there, but in the last couple of years, I've not had a reason to switch to Windows to play a game.

Most games these days seem to work fine on Linux, especially with all the work Valve has put in.

Interested in reading more, can you mention the textbook(s) your course uses?

What you said could be true of any event, but reality is, each of these events influence apathetic people to either become supporters of the regime or anti-establishment.

At least, that's my theory. If not, there would never have been any progress in human society, if things are as static as you theorized.

Even if that did happen, why not tax the additional billionaire income and create subsidized or public housing?

Just because the first step isn't perfect doesn't mean status quo is better than progress.
