The renowned German classical violinist Christian Tetzlaff was blunt in explaining why he and his quartet have cancelled a summer tour of the US.

“There seems to be a quietness or denial about what’s going on,” Tetzlaff said, describing his horror at the authoritarian polices of Donald Trump and the response of US elites to the country’s growing democratic crisis.

“I feel utter anger. I cannot go on with this feeling inside. I cannot just go and play a tour of beautiful concerts.”

Tetzlaff is not alone in acting on his disquiet. A growing international move to boycott the US is spreading from Scandinavia to Canada to the UK and beyond as consumers turn against US goods.

We have already seen market dominance with solar panels from China over the past decade. While prices are still consistently trending downward. This decline can largely be attributed to the intense competition among numerous manufacturers in China.

The same logic can be applied to Chinese EV manufacturers.

In contrast, other countries typically at best have only have a couple of EV manufacturers, often receiving substantial government protection akin to a helicopter parent. This lack of competition keep prices higher.

In the US perhaps. In other countries people either choose Tesla for its charging network & software or Chinese EVs for LFP batteries & value. Korean cars can't find a niche.

For the case for my poco x3 I only debloated once when I got my phone and it remain bloatware free ever since.

From my understanding its mostly legacy automakers that are unable to sell EVs effectively. However EV sales overall are up from EV manufacturers like Tesla & BYD etc.

What news reports did you read that lead you to believe that the EV market is dying?

It seems to be the same size as this?

Many other EV manufacturers sell their cars for twice what its priced in China because they can. BYD for instance has a huge profit margin in Europe.
